Senior Civil Engineer

About the role

CPP is expanding its civil design engineering capability and seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join its national in‑house design team. You will deliver safe, practical designs for high‑voltage substations, battery storage and renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil designs for stormwater drainage, earthworks, pavements and access roads.
• Ensure designs comply with Australian standards and are constructible.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, project managers and construction teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates, fostering technical growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering (RPEQ or CPEng highly regarded).
• 7+ years civil design experience, preferably in energy, utilities, mining or large infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Australian design standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
