Senior Civil Designer – Sunshine Coast

About the role

ADG, part of AtkinsRéalis, is looking for a Senior Civil Designer to join its Sunshine Coast office in Maroochydore. You will work on complex civil, structural and construction projects that shape Australia’s transport networks, precincts and essential infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed civil designs and documentation in line with Australian design standards.
• Use 12D, AutoCAD and related software to create high‑quality drawings for earthworks, drainage, road works and sewer/water systems.
• Monitor project scope, quality, cost and schedule to ensure profitable outcomes.
• Track progress and report on quality, cost and schedule performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external disciplines to maintain coordinated design documentation.
• Apply construction methodology knowledge to inform design decisions.
• Assist in preparing fee proposals and tender submissions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience designing earthworks, drainage, road works and sewer/water systems.
• Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent, or currently completing the qualification.
• Understanding of local authority drafting requirements and construction practices.
