Senior Civil Designer

About the role

You will join a professional team of engineers, designers and drafters to produce civil design and drafting drawings for land development and built‑form projects across Queensland, including drainage, water supply, sewerage, roads and subdivisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate civil design and drafting drawings ensuring compliance with SEQ standards and local council guidelines.
• Interpret survey data, engineering plans and geotechnical reports to produce documentation for stormwater, sewer, water, road and earthworks systems.
• Lead the delivery of design documentation phases on a variety of projects, working alongside senior designers and project managers.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience preparing civil design drawings for land development and built‑form projects in Queensland.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Design.
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards (e.g., AS/NZS 1170 series, AS 2159, AS 1742) and SEQ Water Authority requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in Civil 12D.
