Principal Project Manager, Water

About the role

Lead project management on water infrastructure projects across Australia, delivering medium to large programmes while embedding strong commercial and delivery practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage medium–large water infrastructure projects and programs in line with WSP delivery standards.
• Embed robust project controls, contract administration and cost planning.
• Track internal costs, provide accurate client reporting and manage project changes.
• Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System, including audits and quality checks.
• Apply risk management frameworks and champion a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management.
• 10+ years’ experience delivering design‑and‑construct water infrastructure projects.
• Background in engineering consulting with design management experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across distributed teams.
