Senior Business Process Improvement Analyst - Cranial & Spinal Technologies

About the role

Medtronic is hiring a Senior Business Process Improvement Analyst for its Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) business, based at the Sydney head office. The role strengthens collaboration and support for the Sales and Marketing Team with commercial operations such as spine set SPS creation and management, small and large capital logistics, and coordination of functional stakeholders, to drive efficiencies in the ANZ CST business. CST is the market leader in spinal implants, robotics and navigation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, perform and implement process improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Diagram and evaluate existing processes
• Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams
• Develop metrics for process measurement and identify indicators for future improvements
• Collect data to identify root causes of problems and measure performance against process requirements
• Provide consultation on re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality
• Deliver presentations and training on measurement, analysis, improvement and control
• Survey and analyze best practices, communicate team progress to stakeholders and perform cost-benefit analyses

Required profile

• Degree plus 7 years of relevant experience in the medical devices industry
• Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to influence without direct authority
• Experience driving transformational change through cross-functional collaboration
• Valid driver's license, own transport and willingness to travel as required
