Senior Business Development Manager – ERP & Manufacturing Software

About the role

Reporting to the ANZ CEO, you will own new‑logo growth for a specialist global ERP and operational software vendor across Australia and New Zealand. The role combines strategic sales, complex solution selling and hands‑on engagement with manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of high‑value enterprise software opportunities.
• Create qualified opportunities and develop business cases for multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
• Engage senior decision‑makers (CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Heads of IT, operations leaders, etc.) and close deals ranging from $200K to $2M.
• Collaborate closely with local implementation teams, technical experts and global colleagues.
• Travel to customer sites, industry events and the Melbourne head office; occasional international travel for training and meetings.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience selling complex enterprise software solutions.
• Comfortable working in food, meat or process manufacturing environments and walking factory floors.
• Strong ability to influence C‑suite and operational leaders.
• Track record of closing deals of $200K+ in value.
