Senior Business Development Manager - 3PL Logistics

About the role

A leading global logistics and supply chain company with a network across Australia and key international markets is looking for a senior, autonomous business development manager based in Sydney. The role drives new business growth across a full logistics offering on a national scale, building a pipeline from the ground up and positioning the client as the supply chain partner of choice across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and convert new business opportunities nationally across freight forwarding, 3PL, customs brokerage and supply chain services.
• Develop and execute your own strategic sales plan, owning your market and approach.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across target industries.
• Prepare and present tailored proposals, pricing and solutions aligned to client supply chain needs.
• Collaborate with internal operations and account management teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.

Required profile

• Proven track record of 5+ years in B2B business development within freight, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong commercial acumen, able to sell complex, consultative solutions to C-suite and senior procurement stakeholders.
• A true self-starter who works independently and owns their results.
• An established national network within the logistics or supply chain space is highly regarded.
