Senior Banking Consultant – Armidale

About the role

The Senior Banking Consultant will work directly with customers, guiding them through the home‑buying journey and providing tailored financial solutions. You will also support junior staff on more complex cases while contributing to the branch’s overall retail strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Act as an initiator and role model for ANZ products.
• Support the Branch Manager in delivering the retail strategy and day‑to‑day operations.
• Provide customers with home loans, insurance, investment products and transactional services.
• Maintain a strong ‘know your customer’ risk perspective.
• Deliver a positive, relationship‑based customer experience that addresses complete financial needs.

Required profile

• Prior experience building strong relationships in a customer‑focused role.
• Significant experience in financial services, preferably retail banking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Proven ability to use and promote technology.
• Highly adaptable, able to multitask and thrive in ambiguous environments.
