Senior Associate – External Auditor (Consumer Industrial Products & Services)

About the role

As a Senior Associate in PwC's Consumer Industrial Products and Services (CIPS) Audit team, you will support the delivery of high‑quality external audit services, helping clients meet regulatory requirements and improve financial reporting across a diverse range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and performing external audits of financial statements in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Conduct substantive testing and detailed audit procedures to identify financial statement risks and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Help assess internal controls and risk management processes to support audit conclusions.
• Prepare clear and concise audit documentation and reports for clients and senior team members.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within audit engagements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve complex accounting and audit issues.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in external audit, preferably with exposure to CIPS or similar sectors.
• Progress towards or completion of a recognised CA qualification.
• Strong analytical ability to assess financial information, identify risks and apply professional judgement.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.
• Foundational knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Required skills
