Program Manager – Non‑Financial Risk Frameworks

About the role

The Program Manager, NFR Frameworks will lead the implementation, embedment and continuous improvement of ANZ’s Non‑Financial Risk (NFR) Framework. Working within the Frameworks team, you will translate complex regulatory and strategic requirements into practical, sustainable solutions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end program delivery for NFR framework initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, technology, data and change teams to design processes, tools and controls that embed the framework.
• Prepare clear status reports, recommendations and decision materials for governance forums and the Three Lines of Defence.
• Monitor delivery performance, emerging risks and benefits realisation, providing transparent reporting and escalation when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience uplifting Non‑Financial Risk frameworks in a large, regulated financial institution.
• Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and practical application of NFR requirements.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to advise senior executives.
• Sound judgement and comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments.
