Senior Associate – Executive Search

About the role

We are seeking a commercially minded, professional and engaging Senior Associate to join our high‑performing Sydney team within the APAC Executive Search practice of Robert Half Executive Search.

Key responsibilities

• Support client requirement gathering, including research and participation in kick‑off meetings.
• Collaborate on search strategy development and position profile creation.
• Conduct detailed market mapping and build targeted candidate pipelines.
• Engage and headhunt senior executives through tailored outreach.
• Perform candidate screening, in‑depth interviews and manage search execution, reporting and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified recruitment professional with at least 2 years’ experience at Robert Half or in permanent placement, executive search or professional services.
• Proven experience working with C‑Level executives and delivering senior leadership placements.
• Excellent research, analytical, technology and communication skills.
• Highly driven, self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Required skills

• Advanced verbal communication and interview techniques for senior‑level candidates.
• Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality client‑ready materials.
