Senior Architect / Designer – Brisbane

About the role

Woods Bagot is seeking a senior‑level Architect/Designer to join its Brisbane studio. The role blends strong conceptual design ability with advanced technical delivery, supporting the firm’s commitment to forward‑thinking, resilient architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ideation, development and resolution of design across all project stages.
• Communicate design intent through sketches, 3D vignettes and technical documentation.
• Manage day‑to‑day project delivery, including client liaison and programme coordination.
• Produce and oversee high‑quality Revit documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, cross‑checking drawings and models.
• Take a hands‑on approach to documentation and delivery as needed.
• Develop design solutions that balance strategic, technical and financial outcomes.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in architecture, with a strong portfolio of large‑scale, design‑led projects.
• Registered Architect status.
• Proven ability to manage projects and mentor junior team members.

Required skills

• Advanced Revit capability.
