Senior Analog Design Engineer

About the role

The company is an established Australian design consultancy seeking a senior analog design engineer to lead analog hardware development across a variety of complex projects. The role offers ownership of analog design, technical direction and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop analog electronic circuits and systems from concept to production.
• Translate system requirements into robust hardware solutions, perform circuit analysis, simulation and verification.
• Create schematics, support PCB layout and select appropriate components.
• Work closely with digital, FPGA, firmware and systems engineers to integrate designs.
• Support prototype development, testing, debugging and resolve hardware design issues.
• Produce technical documentation and engage with customers throughout project lifecycles.

Required profile

• Strong background in analog electronics design and testing of complex systems.
• Experience delivering hardware from concept through to production in a consultancy or engineering services environment.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams and influence hardware architecture.
