Senior AI Engineer - AI Operations

About the role

A recruiter is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and implement scalable AI operational capabilities on Azure. The role helps set up reusable frameworks for deploying, securing, monitoring and maintaining AI models, LLM applications and AI agents in production. It is advertised as a 6-month initial contract with hybrid working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement AI operational frameworks on Azure.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment processes.
• Support MLOps, LLMOps and RAG-based solutions.
• Implement AI monitoring, security, governance and access controls.
• Create documentation, reusable templates and provide knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search.
• Proven background in MLOps, CI/CD pipelines and production AI environments.
• Experience implementing AI security, governance and monitoring controls.

Required skills

• Python, APIs, automation and AI application deployment.
• Azure API Management (APIM) and AI Gateway.
• Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Entra ID and Key Vault.
