Senior Accountant

About the role

APM Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its ANZ operations. In this role you will act as a trusted finance partner, delivering accurate reporting, commercial insights and supporting strategic decisions across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review month‑end journals, reconciliations and management reports.
• Provide financial analysis, insights and recommendations to improve business performance.
• Partner with business leaders as the primary finance contact for your portfolio.
• Investigate financial issues, identify risks and opportunities, and propose solutions.
• Support system improvements, finance transformation initiatives and business acquisitions.
• Assist with audit requirements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years in accounting.
• Strong financial reporting, analysis and forecasting capabilities.
• Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes.
• Experience contributing to process improvements, system implementations or transformation projects.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
