Senior Accountant – APAC Finance Team

About the role

FairWind is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its fast‑growing APAC Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will act as the technical anchor for the group’s financial reporting, ensuring compliance, tax, and consolidation processes run smoothly across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and record all financial transactions accurately.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance‑sheet accounts and other key financial records.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, delivering timely and accurate results.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and group consolidation requirements.
• Support capital management, strategic forecasting and commercial accounting initiatives.
• Identify and strengthen finance processes, controls and overall capability of the function.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior accountant in a multi‑entity corporate environment.
• Strong technical aptitude with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.
• Ability to work under various financial governance models across the APAC region.
• Highly motivated, detail‑oriented and capable of handling day‑to‑day accounting activities.
