Senior Account Executive – Deep Tech & Startup PR

About the role

Sling & Stone is seeking a Senior Account Executive to lead public relations and social campaigns for early‑stage deep‑tech and startup clients. You will translate complex technical innovations into compelling stories that resonate with media, influencers and target audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute integrated PR and social media campaigns for deep‑tech and startup portfolios.
• Produce high‑quality written content, including press releases, pitches, articles and social posts.
• Monitor news cycles, provide clients with timely updates and issue management.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, tech editors, influencers and event organizers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across media, events, activations and digital channels.
• Support junior team members and contribute to agency knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 3+ years of public relations and social media experience, preferably in an agency environment.
• Strong interest or exposure to deep‑tech, venture capital and the startup ecosystem.
• Proven ability to develop and manage integrated communications campaigns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well‑connected in business, VC and technology media with a track record of media placements.
