About the role

The School of Information and Communication Studies at Charles Sturt University is seeking a senior academic leader to fill an Associate Professor/Professor position in Communication. This full-time role will guide the discipline through a period of renewal, driving research excellence, high-quality teaching and strong industry partnerships.

Key responsibilities

Provide academic and research leadership for the Communication discipline.
Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
Lead and mentor faculty members and supervise research students.
Foster collaborations with industry and community partners.
Contribute to the strategic direction and governance of the School.

Required profile

Established record of scholarly achievement in Communication or related fields.
Demonstrated experience in academic leadership and curriculum development.
Strong track record of securing research funding and publishing in reputable venues.
Ability to build and maintain industry partnerships.
