Security Analyst

About the role

Kasada is looking for a Security Analyst to join its Security Operations team. You will help protect customers by identifying and mitigating automated threats such as malicious bots. The role combines investigative analysis with incident response in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct moderately complex investigations of automated software within customer environments.
• Support incident response and threat detection activities.
• Utilise a range of tools to analyse malicious bots and related traffic.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide advice and resolve investigative queries.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to make sound judgments.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, incident response methodologies and threat intelligence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with AI‑assisted analysis or security automation.
• Proficiency in using Splunk, ElasticSearch, SQL and NoSQL databases for security investigations.
• Solid understanding of web technologies including TCP/IP stack, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, browser architectures and operating systems.
• Knowledge of automated cyber‑security attacks and bot groups.
