Security Administrator

About the role

ACCIONA is delivering critical infrastructure projects for South Australia, including Defence‑related works. The Security Administrator will manage security clearance processes for all personnel on‑site, ensuring strict compliance with Defence and ACCIONA security obligations while maintaining confidential records.

Key responsibilities

• Process security clearances for contractors and staff, liaising with personnel to monitor progress.
• Conduct quality checks on vetting documentation and maintain secure storage of sensitive data.
• Implement project security policies and procedures, acting as the central point of contact for security matters.
• Escalate security issues promptly to the Security Officer.

Required profile

• Strong administration skills with high attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, especially Excel and SharePoint.
• Ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.
• AGSVA Baseline clearance (or ability to obtain) and previous experience in security compliance (advantageous).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to manage confidential information.
