Secondary Teacher – Accounting & Commerce

About the role

We are seeking a Secondary Teacher – Accounting and Commerce to join our Berwick campus on a full‑time or 0.8 FTE permanent basis, commencing in Term 1 2027. The successful candidate will primarily teach VCE Accounting and Middle Years Commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging VCE Accounting lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Teach Middle Years Commerce, supporting students’ progression to senior studies.

Required profile

• VIT‑registered teacher with a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and relevant syllabus.
• Willingness to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies, including video‑conferencing and online resources.

Required skills

• Proficiency with educational technology platforms.
• Ability to integrate video‑conferencing and digital resources into classroom practice.
