About the role

The Hospitality Teacher inspires students to develop practical skills, industry knowledge and confidence needed for success in the hospitality sector. The role involves creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment using contemporary teaching practices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum covering food and hospitality concepts, industry trends and safe workplace practices.
• Use student data to inform teaching, differentiate instruction and improve learning outcomes.
• Foster positive, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master of Teaching with ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration.
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute accreditation and a VET qualification.
• Commitment to professional growth and inclusive education.

Required skills

• Knowledge of current health and safety requirements for food preparation, storage and handling.
• Ability to apply contemporary, evidence‑based teaching practices.
