About the role

Darlington Primary School is seeking passionate Junior Primary/Primary Years teachers to deliver high‑quality teaching in a diverse, complex school environment. The role supports students with a wide range of learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, evidence‑based lessons using trauma‑informed practices, project‑based learning (PBL) and explicit teaching.
• Implement strategies that promote high student engagement and success for learners with complex needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share practices and continuously improve teaching outcomes.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
• Proven ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with students, families and staff.
