About the role
Join St John Fisher College, a Catholic secondary school for girls, as a Mathematics teacher for Years 7‑12. You will create a learner‑centred environment that aligns with the Australian Curriculum and Catholic values.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging mathematics (and optionally science) lessons across Years 7‑12.
- Assess, report and communicate student progress to students, parents and the community.
- Collaborate with leadership, teachers and staff to develop curriculum and maintain a positive school culture.
- Provide pastoral care, supporting students’ spiritual and moral development.
Required profile
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Commitment to collaborative professional learning and student outcomes.
- Passion for supporting students’ spiritual and moral growth; Catholic affiliation not required unless teaching Religious Education.
