Secondary Engineer – High Voltage Infrastructure

About the role

CPP is seeking an experienced Secondary Engineer to join its Queensland engineering team. You will design and deliver secondary protection and control (PAC) systems for high‑voltage utility and renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate secondary system designs and protection schemes for substations, transmission lines, wind farms and battery storage.
• Support field staff, customers and internal teams with technical expertise and design reviews.
• Check and validate secondary system design outputs to ensure compliance and constructability.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading complex secondary systems design projects in the energy or renewable sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
