About the role

As a Sea Logistics Operational Care Supervisor, you will lead operational excellence in export services, combining expertise in freight forwarding with people leadership to deliver high‑quality outcomes for customers and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by ensuring high‑quality shipment management and consistent performance standards.
• Strengthen partnerships with Customer Care teams, providing proactive information and solutions.
• Maintain and develop carrier relationships to support effective shipment execution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve productivity and service delivery.
• Monitor KPIs, support profitability targets, and manage cost and revenue accurately.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for leaner operations.
• Support resolution of claims and disputes, ensuring reliable customer service.

Required profile

• Strong experience in freight forwarding and supply chain management, preferably within Sea Logistics.
• Good organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of financial performance.
• Clear communication skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Problem‑solving capabilities and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of freight forwarding operations, regulations and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with logistics systems, processes, products and operational workflows.
• Understanding of market conditions and carrier relationship management.
