Saturday Hospital Pharmacist – Part‑time at Slade Pharmacy

About the role

This permanent part‑time position is based in the dispensary of Slade Pharmacy at Epworth Freemasons Hospital, East Melbourne. You will work every Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, providing safe medication dispensing, patient counselling and discharge preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and distribute medication efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct medication history interviews and perform medication reconciliation when required.
• Prepare discharge summaries and support transitions of care.
• Provide medication counselling and education to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advise on patient care.

Required profile

• Current general pharmacist registration with AHPR.
• Previous pharmacy experience in Australia or New Zealand.
• Ability to manage workload independently and communicate effectively with a diverse healthcare team.
• Genuine passion for advancing clinical skills and knowledge.
