SAP Technology Consultant (Hybrid)

About the role

EY is seeking expressions of interest from experienced SAP professionals to support current and future client engagements across a range of industries. The role sits in a consulting environment spanning technical, functional and leadership positions, and suits candidates at Senior Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager or Director level. You will work in multidisciplinary teams advising clients on the case for change, design, implementation and value optimisation of SAP solutions, from large-scale end-to-end transformations to discrete consulting projects. The position is hybrid, based in Melbourne, Canberra or Sydney, and may be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to or lead end-to-end SAP implementations, upgrades and transformation programs
• Advise clients on SAP-enabled business transformation and technology strategy
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP functional and technical solutions
• Design, configure and optimise SAP solutions in line with industry best practice
• Partner with senior client stakeholders to shape solution direction and drive adoption
• Provide thought leadership on SAP S/4HANA, cloud, data, analytics and integration
• Support testing, cutover, deployment and hypercare activities
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automation and innovation
• Coach and mentor team members; at Manager level and above, support engagement management, commercial outcomes and business development

Required profile

• Consulting experience, ideally in a Big 4 or comparable professional services organisation
• Proven track record delivering SAP solutions in complex client environments
• Depth in one or more SAP domains, ability to navigate ambiguity and advise senior stakeholders
• For senior roles: experience leading teams, managing client relationships and contributing to sales and proposals

• SAP S/4HANA implementations and SAP solution and integration architecture
• ERP consulting strategy, FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, TM, EAM/PM, SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba and Concur
• ABAP, RAP, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, CPI, PI/PO, BW/4HANA, SAC
• Preferred: consulting experience, large-scale transformation programs, and engagement with senior stakeholders
