ServiceNow Technical Consultant (NV1 Cleared)

About the role

A growing national consulting organisation is hiring permanent ServiceNow Technical Consultants to deliver enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions for Defence and Government clients across Australia. The work covers meaningful digital transformation programs, and positions are open in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra, commencing January 2027. An active NV1 security clearance is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement ServiceNow solutions for Defence and Government clients.
• Work across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to deployment and optimisation.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts and client stakeholders.
• Advise clients on platform best practices and scalable ServiceNow adoption.
• Support continuous improvement and innovation across ServiceNow environments.

Required profile

• Strong ServiceNow implementation and consulting experience.
• Experience working with enterprise or government environments.
• Hands-on platform configuration and solution design capability.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work in consulting environments and manage multiple priorities.
• Active NV1 security clearance (mandatory).
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening checks, including ID and work rights and security clearance verification.

Required skills

• Experience in one or more of: IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Asset Management (ITAM)
• ServiceNow platform configuration and solution design
