SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Lead to drive end‑to‑end payroll transformation projects. The role will involve designing, implementing, testing and supporting payroll solutions, with a focus on Australian public‑sector payroll requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle SAP SuccessFactors ECP implementations, rollouts and support engagements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable payroll configurations, including schemas, rules, wage types and statutory compliance.
• Design and deploy integration between Employee Central and Payroll, configuring payroll replication, Payroll Control Center and monitoring processes.
• Manage integrations with Time Management, Finance, Benefits, Banking and third‑party systems, collaborating with technical teams on SAP CPI/BTP.
• Define and execute data migration strategies, perform mapping, validation, reconciliation and mock conversion cycles.
• Lead SIT, UAT, Parallel Payroll Run Testing and payroll reconciliation activities.
• Supervise onsite and offshore consultants, review design documents and support knowledge transfer.
• Participate in effort estimation, resource planning and governance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of SAP Payroll experience, including at least 5 years with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
• Proven experience delivering payroll implementations in complex, regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams.
