SAP HANA Tester

About the role

The FIN Tester will support the implementation, enhancement and assurance of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions for Federal Government projects. The role focuses on testing, quality assurance, functional validation and close collaboration with business and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end testing of SAP S/4HANA FIN and CO modules, including system, integration, regression and user‑acceptance testing.
• Validate configuration, functional design and system behaviour against business requirements.
• Create, review and maintain test plans, scripts, scenarios and traceability matrices.
• Support defect triage, analysis and coordination with functional consultants and developers.
• Execute data validation, financial posting testing and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with regulatory, accounting and operational requirements.
• Contribute to cut‑over, deployment readiness and post‑go‑live validation.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities across testing and finance streams.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience testing SAP S/4HANA Finance (FIN) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Centre Accounting and Internal Orders.
• Experience working in large‑scale ERP transformation programmes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Australian citizenship and mandatory AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (NV1 preferred).
