SAP Developer (CPI & BTP Cloud Integration)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer specializing in Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and Business Technology Platform (BTP) to design, develop and manage enterprise‑grade integrations and cloud‑native applications across our SAP landscape. The role will focus on building scalable solutions that leverage SAP BTP services and ensure seamless connectivity between SAP and external systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud‑native applications and extensions using SAP CAP with Node.js or Java.
• Create and maintain secure OData and REST APIs for SAP Fiori, mobile and web consumption.
• Utilize SAP BTP services such as Event Mesh, Workflow Management, Document Management and Mobile Services to implement event‑driven processes.
• Develop, configure and support integration flows (iFlows) in SAP Integration Suite (CPI) connecting SAP S/4HANA, ECC, FSM, Salesforce and custom APIs.
• Implement best‑practice integration patterns, including synchronous/asynchronous messaging, error handling, OAuth and certificate‑based security.
• Manage deployment, monitoring and support of integration artefacts within the SAP BTP landscape.
• Act as technical SME, provide architectural guidance, conduct code reviews and enforce clean‑code standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins and SAP BTP deployment services.

Required profile

• 7+ years of SAP development experience, with at least 3 years focused on SAP BTP and CPI/Integration Suite.
• Proven delivery of full‑cycle BTP/CPI implementations and large‑scale ERP transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Australian citizenship (role restricted to Australian citizens).
