Sample Preparation & Fire Assay Assistant

About the role

This entry‑level position involves preparing mining samples for laboratory testing using specialised equipment. Training is provided and the role is based onsite at the Wingfield site with free parking.

Key responsibilities

• Handle mining samples – sorting, weighing, crushing, and milling.
• Prepare samples according to strict safety procedures and meet laboratory deadlines.
• Operate the Robotic Pulveriser for sample processing.

Required profile

• Experience in physically demanding, industrial or dusty environments.
• Ability to work 8‑hour rotational shifts, including nights.
• Physically fit to lift and move heavy sample bags (≈15 kg) repeatedly.

Required skills

• Operation of specialised sample preparation equipment (e.g., Robotic Pulveriser).
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality procedures.
