Prill Process Laboratory Technician

About the role

Join Bureau Veritas as a Prill Process Laboratory Technician and support the analysis of mineral samples in a high‑volume laboratory. You will work with an experienced team to perform fire assay processes, generate accurate assay results and develop your laboratory skills.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct prill digestions following fire assay and prill processing procedures.
• Operate AAS and ICP to generate assay results.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established procedures.
• Ensure accurate weighing and recording of samples and results.
• Assist in delivering quality assay results within required turnaround times.
• Adhere to all safety, quality and laboratory compliance requirements.
• Support the laboratory supervisor and wider team with daily laboratory operations.

Required profile

• Previous laboratory experience desirable, ideally within minerals, mining or a related industry.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate results.
• Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a laboratory environment.
• Reliable, team‑focused and able to manage competing priorities.
• Enthusiastic about learning new skills and developing a long‑term career in laboratory operations.
