Sales Manager WA

About the role

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Sales Manager for Western Australia, based in Perth, on a hybrid/field arrangement. The role leads the WA sales team with a focus on profitable growth, commercial performance and customer development, and starts in January 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the WA sales team to drive accountability, capability and high performance.
• Develop and execute state sales strategies to deliver revenue growth, margin improvement and market share gains.
• Oversee and analyse state sales performance, identifying ways to improve profitability.
• Build and run customer growth plans focused on key accounts and strategic end users, with clear plans and measurable outcomes.
• Drive disciplined sales execution, including call planning, pipeline management and sales cadence.
• Expand margins through directional selling, pricing discipline and effective product mix management.
• Use sales and financial data to inform decisions and optimise return on effort and investment.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on sales, forecasting and customer support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales leadership role, leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic sales, business development and customer relationship management.
• Experience developing and executing sales plans that deliver revenue growth and profitability improvement.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, interpreting sales data and managing margin performance.
• Confidence in analysing performance metrics and turning insights into action.
• Strong coaching capability, including training on product features, benefits and value-based selling.
• Proactive, results-driven leadership style.
• Experience or exposure in the tool industry, construction or a similar environment is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Proficiency with business systems such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Salesforce or similar CRM/reporting platforms.
