Sales Manager – Civil NSW

About the role

Aptella is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead its Civil sales team in New South Wales. This hands‑on leadership position combines strategic planning, people management and direct customer engagement to grow market share and drive commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Civil sales team, setting clear targets and territories.
• Design and execute sales strategies that increase market growth and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
• Identify new markets, products and business opportunities for Aptella.
• Support the team with customer visits, major sales calls and opportunity management.
• Manage sales performance, forecasting and pipeline activity.
• Collaborate with Marketing on events, campaigns and market activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a sales team in a commercial environment.
• Strong background in business development and account management.
• Ability to coach, motivate and hold people accountable.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel and spend time with customers and the team.
• Experience in civil construction, infrastructure or related technology markets is highly regarded.
