Sales Executive – Outbound Prospecting & Business Development

About the role

Sales Hero is seeking an ambitious Sales Executive to join its Sydney CBD team. This mid‑level position offers the chance to create new business opportunities, engage directly with owners and decision‑makers, and develop the full sales cycle alongside experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting across target industries via phone and respond promptly to inbound enquiries.
• Qualify prospects, book high‑quality discovery meetings for senior business development team members, and re‑engage dormant opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and complete follow‑up activities within agreed timeframes.
• Participate in coaching, call reviews and sales training to progress toward independent discovery calls and opportunity management.

Required profile

• Confident initiating conversations with new people and naturally curious.
• Motivated by measurable goals, resilient to rejection, and professional in communication.
• Coach‑able, organised, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, energetic environment.
• Willing to work full‑time on‑site in Sydney CBD; previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential.
