Sales Estimator – Residential Home Builder

About the role

Join Victoria's largest residential home builder as a Sales Estimator, preparing accurate sales estimates that guide customers from contract signing through construction. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in Derrimut and offers immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise sales estimates for tenders and contracts across single and double‑storey home designs.
• Obtain quotations and pricing for customer variations and upgrades.
• Prepare and present tender documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
• Review plans, engineering drawings and supporting documents to ensure estimate accuracy.
• Conduct quality‑assurance checks on all estimating documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams to support smooth project progression and address technical or pricing queries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales estimating role within the residential building industry.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, terminology and costs.
• Knowledge of ResCode, the National Construction Code and Victorian building requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans and supporting documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of residential construction cost structures.
• Familiarity with ResCode and NCC compliance.
• Proficiency in interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
