Sales Engineer - Compressor Industry

About the role

A leading international company with a strong position in the compressor industry is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer in Melbourne, advertised by Superior People Recruitment. The role works closely with the branch team to grow revenue across equipment sales, parts sales, wholesale, hire and service.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the branch team to increase revenue across equipment, parts, wholesale, hire and service categories.
• Identify and implement improvements that raise customer satisfaction and sales outcomes.
• Handle enquiries about spare parts, tools, generators and air and gas compressors by phone, email and in person.
• Prepare and manage quotations and follow them through to a successful outcome.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets for revenue, gross margin or other KPIs.
• Support internal customers in Sales, Parts and Service, and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Use CRM systems to track leads, manage customer interactions and analyse sales data.
• Document all transactions and interactions in line with internal policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of industrial sales or technical sales experience.
