About the role
A boutique travel company specialising in small-ship and expedition cruising is looking for an experienced travel consultant to join its team. The role is fully remote and involves managing enquiries and converting sales for a range of unique expedition voyages, working closely with clients to design tailored experiences for polar regions, remote islands and other off-the-beaten-path destinations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inbound enquiries and convert them into sales
- Provide expert advice on expedition cruise products and destinations
- Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Create customised itineraries tailored to each client's needs
- Deliver exceptional, end-to-end customer service
Required profile
- Previous experience in travel consulting; cruise experience highly regarded
- Strong sales and closing skills
- Passion for adventure and experiential travel
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
Required skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Expert knowledge of expedition cruise products and destinations
