Sales Consultant – Retail Furniture

About the role

As a Sales Consultant in Plush’s Belrose showroom, you will combine product expertise with relationship‑building to help customers find the perfect sofa. Your performance directly influences your earnings through a competitive base salary and uncapped commission.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that positions Plush as the preferred sofa retailer.
• Achieve and exceed daily and weekly sales targets using proven sales techniques.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently to ensure smooth transaction flow.
• Promote room solutions and add‑on items to increase average transaction value.
• Collaborate with the Showroom Manager on visual merchandising and pricing to optimise the sales environment.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience, preferably in furniture or other high‑value categories such as automotive, jewellery, luxury goods, or travel.
• Energetic and positive attitude, especially during peak periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to build trust with customers and colleagues.
• Openness to feedback and a passion for continuous learning.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to keep sales momentum.
