Sales Consultant - Business Lending

About the role

Prospa is looking for experienced Sales Consultants for its Business Lending team. You will work with a steady flow of inbound leads, talking to small business owners across Australia about their goals and matching them with funding solutions. The role suits people who enjoy phone-based sales, exceed targets and manage a busy pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Speak with small business owners daily, building trust and uncovering opportunities through meaningful sales conversations.
• Manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound opportunities.
• Own the customer journey from first contact through to settlement.
• Handle objections confidently, negotiate outcomes and close business.
• Consistently exceed sales and activity targets while delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and meet compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven success in a high-volume phone-based sales role.
• Experience managing a busy pipeline and juggling several customer conversations at once.
• A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Resilience, energy and a genuine drive to win.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and create trust over the phone.
• Experience in contact centre sales, financial services, telecommunications, novated leasing, insurance, technology, automotive finance, business services or similar fast-paced sales environments is highly regarded.
