Sales Administration Assistant - Grocery

About the role

JBS Pork Australia, part of the global JBS group, is looking for a Sales Administration Assistant based in Port Melbourne. The role provides administrative and analytical support to the sales team, helping manage customer requirements and run key commercial processes accurately and on time. It works closely with National Account Managers, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance and key retail customers, supporting sales reporting, claims processing, inventory reporting and customer administration in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales, pricing, promotional and claims data to support commercial decisions.
• Prepare and maintain sales, inventory and customer reports.
• Support customer administration and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Process and manage customer claims, following up accurately until resolved.
• Work with Logistics and other teams to support DIFOT performance and customer service.

Required profile

• Experience in sales support, administration or customer-facing coordination, ideally in FMCG or a similar fast-paced setting.
• Strong analytical and numerical ability with good attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer focus.
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks, work autonomously and contribute in a team.
• Proactive, collaborative and solution-focused, willing to learn and improve processes.
• Business or administration qualification preferred but not essential.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Confidence working across multiple business systems.
