Safety, Health & Environment Manager

About the role

JDE Peet's, a global pure-play coffee company now part of Keurig Dr Pepper, is seeking an experienced Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Manager to lead its national safety strategy across Australia. The role covers manufacturing, warehousing, retail, field sales and corporate environments, and aims to shape organisational culture, strengthen leadership accountability and drive best-practice safety, health and wellbeing outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the national Safety, Health & Environment strategy across Australia
• Shape and embed a "Safety First" culture across all levels of the organisation
• Work closely with the Leadership Team, HR and Operations leaders
• Drive governance, risk management, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Champion physical safety, psychological wellbeing and environmental responsibility
• Lead critical incident management, emergency preparedness and business continuity planning
• Influence enterprise risk management and sustainability outcomes
• Build capability and accountability through coaching, engagement and leadership development

Required profile

• Senior SHE leader with 8+ years' experience in FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or other multi-site environments
• Proven track record driving safety culture transformation and influencing executive stakeholders
• Experience working across both operational and corporate environments
• Commercially minded, able to balance compliance, risk and business performance
• Confident, influential leader who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and building a high-performance safety culture

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation
• Risk management frameworks
• ISO standards
