Robotics Clinical Specialist – Joint Replacement

About the role

Join a leading medical‑technology team in Sydney, supporting surgeons with cutting‑edge robotic systems for knee and hip joint replacement. This hybrid position combines hands‑on theatre work with pre‑operative planning and training of healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑theatre technical and clinical support during robotic knee and hip procedures, ensuring safe and effective use of the system.
• Perform pre‑operative case planning by segmenting and analysing CT data with specialised software.
• Act as the primary point of contact for surgeons and theatre staff, maintaining workflow continuity and product utilisation.
• Train clinicians on product use and surgical applications through structured on‑site education sessions.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and system data to support compliance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Allied Health, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Podiatry or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical or patient‑facing environment.
• Full, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Experience with robotic surgical systems or medical‑device technology.
• Proficiency in CT data segmentation and analysis using specialised planning software.
• Ability to operate in high‑pressure clinical environments and support surgical teams.
