Retail Store Designer

About the role

Brandbank Group is looking for a Retail Store Designer to join its Store Design team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Based at the St Kilda Road office, you will work closely with the Store Design Manager and Draftsperson to turn creative concepts into detailed technical designs for a portfolio of five brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and translate store concepts into floorplans, elevations and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit and other design tools.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising, Project Managers and external contractors to ensure seamless retail experiences.
• Support joinery and fixture design, material selection and finishes across all store projects.
• Prepare design approvals, documentation and quality‑assurance records.
• Stay informed of retail trends to keep Brandbank stores engaging and on‑brand.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in retail or commercial interior design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Strong technical drawing ability and understanding of spatial design for retail environments.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving and ability to manage multiple projects.
