Retail Sales Consultant – Furniture

About the role

Plush, Australia’s leading sofa specialist, is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join its Geelong showroom. You will be the face of the brand, delivering a memorable buying experience and helping customers find the perfect sofa for their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and product knowledge to drive sales.
• Achieve daily and weekly sales targets using effective selling techniques, including room solutions and add‑on sales.
• Complete sales order paperwork and internal documentation accurately for timely processing.
• Maintain showroom standards through visual merchandising, pricing accuracy, and collaboration with the Showroom Manager.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience, preferably in furniture, luxury goods, jewellery, cars, bedding, travel, or similar high‑value items.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to receive feedback, learn quickly, and demonstrate a growth mindset.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple responsibilities.
