About the role

Join Smokemart & Gift Box in Alice Springs as a Sales Assistant, delivering high‑quality customer service and creating a fun, authentic shopping experience. You will work in a busy, sales‑driven environment while supporting the store’s standards and targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and build strong rapport with shoppers.
• Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
• Maintain solid product knowledge across all business pillars.
• Uphold store standards, assist with merchandising and visual presentation.
• Work towards budgets, sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Support stock control, quality management and compliance with WHS, security and national legislation.

Required profile

• Passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Happy, friendly and energetic personality.
• Desire to deliver high‑quality customer service.
• Valid Police Check Report required if successful at interview stage.
