Retail Sales Assistant (Casual) – St Agnes

About the role

This casual, part‑time position (16 hours per week, Monday‑Friday with weekend availability) supports customers in a retail environment, helping them with therapy equipment and providing excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in‑store and over the phone, addressing enquiries and troubleshooting therapy issues.
• Fit customers for masks, recommend appropriate products, and provide set‑up and ongoing support.
• Handle sales of new or additional services, follow up on trials and testing results to drive conversion.
• Maintain the retail premises, displays, and manage payments, float balancing and banking.
• Manage trial and sales stock levels, re‑ordering as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a busy retail or customer‑service role.
• Strong communication, empathy and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a drive to achieve the best outcome for each individual.
• Reliable, honest, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
