Retail Innovation Delivery Project Manager

About the role

MECCA is seeking a Retail Innovation Delivery Project Manager on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract to join the Property team. The role will support the planning and execution of flagship, innovation and store development projects across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring they meet schedule, budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, documentation, stakeholder communications and procurement activities across multiple retail projects.
• Support delivery by monitoring milestones, tracking actions and escalating risks where required.
• Manage project administration including budgets, purchase orders, cost tracking, meeting coordination, action registers and reporting.
• Coordinate suppliers, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve project deliverables on time and to company standards.
• Support store build execution, defect management, landlord contribution claims and project handovers across active projects.

Required profile

• 1–3 years experience in project coordination, store development, retail delivery, property or construction administration.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence working with budgets, quotations, procurement processes and financial tracking.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction, Design, Property or a related discipline is desirable.
